AdLiBb’s studio recently hosted Allan J. MacDonald and Helena McCuaig from the Glengarry Historical Society for a portrait photoshoot aimed at promoting their upcoming speaker series. Despite the session’s official purpose, the atmosphere remained light and playful, resulting in several ‘out-take’ shots that captured the genuine warmth and character of both figures.

Both Allan and Helena, who are farmers by trade, donned their boots for the shoot, adding a touch of authenticity and personal flair to the photographs. The chosen background for the shoot was a simple yet versatile white, allowing their personalities to shine without distraction. The resulting images were not only used effectively in the speaker series posters but also helped attract a larger audience to the event, showcasing the power of professional photography to enhance public engagement and interest.

These portraits not only served their promotional intent but also beautifully illustrated the subjects’ dedication and community spirit, elements at the heart of the Glengarry Historical Society’s mission.
